Our Labs

SEA’s educational model extends beyond theory into real-world, hands-on training environments designed to support safe, supervised robotic surgical education.

Hands-on robotic training

Where learning becomes practice

SEA laboratories are designed to provide structured, supervised exposure to robotic surgical platforms.

These environments allow surgeons to observe, practice, and refine techniques in alignment with internationally recognized educational standards.

Training within SEA labs is guided by experienced faculty and mentors, ensuring that learning remains ethical, human-centered, and focused on patient safety.

FIRST: The first SEA training laboratory

FIRST (Florencia Institute for Robotic Surgical Training) is the first physical training laboratory developed as part of SEA’s global educational vision.

Located in Florencia, Caquetá, Colombia, FIRST represents the initial step in building a network of accessible, hands-on robotic surgical training environments designed to support surgeons from around the world.

Additional details regarding laboratory activities and schedules will be announced as programs continue to develop.
